2. Cala de la Vinya

Cala de la Vinya, also known as Cala de la Viña. it is one of the small Salou Beach Cove or beach located in the municipality of Tarragona, in the Catalonia region of northeastern Spain. It is a very small urban beach only 44 metres long. 

 The beach is famous for its peacefulness and quietness away from city chaos. The cove’s rocky surroundings also make it a suitable location for underwater exploration and snorkeling.

Cala font is situated to the east of Salou’s main center. It is within walking distance from the main beach area and a relatively small cove nestled between rocky cliffs. The rocky surroundings make it a spot for underwater exploration.

4. Llenguadets Beach

Llenguadets Beach is a 20-minute walk from central Salou. The coast is no more than 125 meters. This beach has a scenic view of the Mediterranean Sea with unique rock formations. Compared to larger beaches in Salou it has more of a natural environment. 

The way to the beach is by stairs and a ramp for access to disabled people is present. To get a good spot for sunbathing at the beach visitors should go in the morning.

5. Ponent Beach

Ponent Beach is one of the prominent beaches in Salou, situated at the west of the town center. This beach is located near the heart of Salou. The beach boasts fine, golden sands that are comfortable for sunbathing and relaxation.

6. Capellans Beach

Cala Capellans also known as Capellans beach, is situated half a kilometer to the east of the Salou main beach area. Its coastline is small about 200 meters in length.

The beach is known for its picturesque setting, with golden sands and clear, turquoise waters. Surrounding cliffs and rocky formations add to its natural charm. Capellans Beach is a lovely destination for beachgoers and water sports enthusiasts who appreciate natural beauty.

7. Llarga Beach

Llarga Beach, also known as Playa Larga in Spanish. This is the longest coastline in Salou Beach with 5.5 kilometers of spectacular view of the Mediterranean Sea. 

As it is the sportious beach all water sports are there from jet skiing to banana boat rides. There is also a campsite located nearby. 

Mediterranean cuisine, seafood, and refreshing drinks can be enjoyed while soaking in Vitamin D.

8. Crancs Cove

Transportation To Reach Salou Beach


Reus Airport (REU) – Salou Beach is a short drive away from the Reus airport. This airport is closest to Salou at a distance of 10 kilometers. 

Many airlines operate to Regus from various European Cities. 

Barcelona-El Prat Airport (BCN) – Barcelona’s main international airport, located about 100 kilometers from Salou. It offers a wider range of international flights. 

From Barcelona-El Prat Airport, you can take a train or a bus to reach Salou. The journey takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.


You can take a train from Barcelona or any other main city to the Saolu Railway Station. It is known as Salou Station or Salou PortAventura Station.

You can easily walk to the beach from the Railway Station to Salou Beach.
